This river expedition takes you to the Kumaon region in state of Uttarakhand where the river kali forms the borders of India and Nepal. This is one of the few rivers left in all of India that does not have road access. The section we raft has beautiful sand beaches for camping, friendly quiet villages and beautiful lush green jungles. The white water on this river section is class 3 and 4. It is exciting but not too demanding. It is one of Kim’s favorite rivers in India for adventure expeditions. It is ideal for a first time multi-day river trip, great for families and children 11 years old and up.
